Congratulations on your Best Blues Band of 2006 award from the Washington Blues Society! Becki Sue & Her Big Rockin' Daddies had a  record 15 nominations resulted in the Best Band award, Tom Boyle co-winning Best Electric Guitar, Best Blues Horn co-won by Jim King, Best Blues Bass won by Les White and the prestigious Keeping The Blues Alive award was co-won by Jeff Hayes.

Becki Sue and her Big Rockin' Daddies are ridin' the crest of blues  popularity here in the Pacific Northwest. No matter what regional blues publication you read, you've probably been following their fast accumulation of accolades and witnessed the widening of their turf. Maybe you've already got your own copy of their latest CD The L.A.B. Results.     The band has both blues wailer Becki Sue and the multi-talented Jim King (vocals, blues harmonica and tenor saxophone) fronting their lively shows. Tom Boyle (alias "T-Boy Neal") is on  guitar. Boyle has won the Washington Blues Society (WBS) "Best Electric Guitar" award in both 2005 and 2003. Standup bassist Les White adds that great bottom end tone along with a clever bag of tricks, not your usual invisable bassist! Rounding out the five piece blues band is drummer Jeff Hayes (featured in the January 2006 issue of the WBS Bluesletter).
