March of Dimes Jail and Bail Photos
The 2004 March of Dimes 'Jail & Bail' fundraiser event at the Boundary Bay Brewery in downtown Bellingham was a lively and entertaining event. Activity began early on Friday, September 10th, with setting up the events 'jail' made of white PVC pipe, organizing the judges case files, pledge sheets and setting up the sound equipment for the Bellingham musicians performing at the 2004 March of Dimes event. Though the final fundraising figures weren't in at the 5pm close of the day, individual community leaders were 'bailed out' for figures ranging from $200 to over $1000. Many thanks to the volunteers, Whatcom county musicians and media who supported this worthy March of Dimes event.
