| "An Evening of Red, White and Blues" arrives not on Independence Day, but on Saturday, July 9th, 2005 at Broadway Hall (1300 Broadway, the old Aftermath Club) in Bellingham, WA. The award winning Charles White Band will be providing the firecrackers, in the form of live, high energy Rhythm and Blues for this special performance benefiting Bellingham's Swan Theatre. A delicious dinner, dancing and both a silent & live auction await the blues and live theatre fans who come out to support this local theatre fundraiser. |

| Texas native Charles White has been knocking Northwest audiences out with his riveting live performances and larger than life style at both blues festivals and clubs for many years. The Charles White Band's most recent accolade was winning the prestigious 2005 Seattle Weekly Music Award for Blues. His hot six-piece band includes alto saxophonist Bill Blackstone, guitarist Scott Lind, Rolf Larsen on keys and John Savage on bari sax. Once they fire up you'll be moving to the music, whether you're still in your seat or already on the dance floor. The Swan Theatre benefit begins at 5:30pm. Tickets are $55 per person, $100 per couple or $45 each for a table of eight. Tickets for "An Evening of Red, White and Blues" can be purchased at Village Books and the Community Food Co-op. Dinner will include your choice of entree, Havarti Stuffed Chicken wrapped with prosciutto or BBQ Wild Citrus Salmon along with an assortment of hors d'oervres, wine, fresh spinach salad with gorgonzola cheese, mandarin orange segments, cranraisons and candied walnuts tossed with a raspberry vinaigrette, gourmet breads, herb grilled vegetables and Cous Cous. The Swan Theatre offers classes and community performance opportunities for youth here in Whatcom County.
