GREG PITSCH
Greg Pitsch has a really exceptional voice on his original songs and on standards. He is equally at home on both the stage or in the recording studio.
The only mystery is why he's such a well kept secret.
Pitsch's Muscle Shoals Sound release (
Greg T. Pitsch, Jr.) with eight of his originals had an impressive line-up of players including guitarist Duncan Cameron of Sawyer Brown, David Hood, Owen Hale, Steve Nathan, Donny Carpenter, Tommy Hannum, Clayton Ivy, Mac Macanaly, Bill Stroum, Chris Zippy Leighton, Larry Knectel, Ava Aldridge and Cindy Walker.
In 1994, Greg's original "We Are Nothing Without Hope" was re-released on Wade In The Rain Records
a seamless connection. The prestigious northwest songwriters compilation presented Pitsch to a non-Country audience who loved the power and depth of his tune.
Greg Pitsch has performed with his band throughout the northwest at concerts, festivals and clubs. These days it's The Greg Pitsch Band, but you'll recognize many of the players as alumni from his earlier group Special Delivery. His band has frequently been associated on stage with Charlie Gearhearts Goose Creek Symphony and share a northwest fan base.
Though Greg Pitsch is generally thought of as a country performer, folks who attend blues jams
know he can wail on the  blues. His harmonica and guitar add just the right touch to a Howlin Wolf and Muddy Waters tune.
